About the Book

“When darkness and despair finds its way to your door, how will you handle it?”

Registered dental hygienist Penny Meyer Hovda found the answer to this question when she faced the greatest trial of her life. In 2005, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This led her to four surgeries, many months of chemotherapy, and a year of Herceptin treatments. In the midst of her suffering, Penny never lost hope. She withstood the storm by turning to God.

And He Said, “Praise Me!” tells Penny’s story of courage, strength, and unwavering faith. Readers will discover a different viewpoint of a difficult situation, urging them to look beyond themselves to the heart of God. His love and sacrifice is stronger than any challenge and obstacle on one’s path. Penny tells how she surrendered everything to his care, letting go and allowing God to take control with His eternal light and love.

If you want to understand the incredible grace of God, then this book is for you. If you are going through loss, grief, or illness, then let this be your inspiration.
